HDMI + IR HDMI over CAT 5/6 Extender - 10.2Gbps

Description:

HDCAT-IR HDMI Extender allows transmission of HDMI digital video/audio and I.R. over standard CAT-5/6 Ethernet cables. The HDCAT-IR includes a HDMI Transmitter, HDMI Receiver and allows transmission of 1080P HD over 120ft of Ethernet cables (CAT-6 recommended). In addition, Remote Infrared can be extended and sent from viewing area to the equipment room by using the I.R. Receiver and transmitter cables.

Flexible Powering options: The HDCAT-IR can be remotely powered from 1 single power supply at the transmitter unit for applications < 75ft (25m) thus minimizing power cable clutter OR powered from 2 power supplies for longer link applications( 120ft).

CAT 6 cable is recommended for 1080P and best performance

The HDCAT-IR HDMI extender allows installers to use standard CAT 5/6 cables for ease of installation. Ethernet cables and connectors are easily field terminated thus allowing installers to easily install the proper length cable needed for ultimate flexibility and eliminate logistics problems of having custom length HDMI cables.

Active Drive and Compensation circuitry ensures error free video transmission for the ultimate HD experience.

External Powering. The HDMI-Ethernet utilizes 2 dedicated power supplies to ensure reliability and minimizes loading on your HD sources.
